Chievo midfielder Simone Perrotta says he would like to play for FC Porto if Luigi Del Neri is selected as the club's new manager.
However, Roma and Inter are also said to be interested in the services of the Italian international but Porto may are said to be able to offer him better wages and regular first-team football.
With Costinha more than likely to be joining Jose Mourinho at Chelsea this summer, Simone Perrotta would be virtually guaranteed a place in FC Porto's starting eleven.
"As of right now, I am focused on Euro 2004. But I would like to play for the Champions of Europe and have the oppourtunity to play for the Intercontinental Cup in Japan," said Perrotta.
Porto president Pinto Da Costa is remaining tight-lipped about the pending manager vacancy. However, the Italian and Portuguese media are reporting that Del Neri is topping the list of possible replacements
